Onboarding:
Onboarding is simple and time-to-value is measured in hours.
To get started, you’ll meet with Dark Matter engineers to assess your data sources and discuss what insights and analytics are most important to you and your business. Dark Matter will populate with not only your desired visualizations, but also the insights and analysis Dark Matter determines will offer the most complete view of your business, it’s risks, and its areas of opportunity.
This is followed by a meeting with our team to review visualizations and data sources while modifying anything needed.
Once you’re satisfied with the starting point, you are free to use Dark Matter. We’ll also hold the necessary training sessions to review functionality, onboard your broader team, and ensure everyone understands how best to harness the power behind Dark Matter.
Onboarding is usually complete in a couple of hours with initial refinements for your Dark Matter instance completed in a matter of days.
Ongoing:
After onboarding, Dark Matter can answer most questions and even execute changes and additions to your dashboard, all based on simple, natural-language requests. At the same time, Dark Matter’s team of engineers remain available to ensure that Dark Matter delivers on its promise. As an early customer of Dark Matter, you’ll also have a unique opportunity to help us shape the future of the platform and feature set.
Managed Cloud:
By default, Dark Matter is offered as a wholly managed, cloud-based software as a service platform. With a focus on data security and privacy, this offering should prove sufficient for most customers.
Self-Hosted (via Cloud, On-Prem, or Colocation):
If your company has existing cloud or on-prem/colo hardware and would prefer to self-host your Dark Matter instance, we can work with you set up a self-hosted solution to fit your needs.
Appliance:
If you do not currently have managed hardware, but would prefer to host Dark Matter internally, we can set up your instance on a private server and deliver the hardware to your location for on-prem setup.

Data privacy is the largest concern in the world when it comes to artificial intelligence. That’s why we built Dark Matter with data privacy and security in mind from the very beginning.
Dark Matter never trains its models or systems using your data like some AI-enabled solutions. Additionally, all of your data is kept in a segregated Kubernetes cluster, making it impossible for your data to “leak” into another customer’s data set. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest and Dark Matters’s underlying technology is used by multiple branches of the United States Armed Forces and the United States Department of Defense.
